8 reasons to consider a pre-wedding photo shoot
Pre-wedding photo shoot it’s a personalised photo session booked with your photographer few months before your Day. We believe that spending a lovely afternoon together could make your wedding photos bliss!
1. Are you camera-shy?
The majority of us don’t like posing in front of cameras. Having your photo taken can seem like a stressful effort, especially when it seems that you never look as good in photos as you do actually. Having a pre-wedding shoot before your wedding day will help you to relax while following professional guidance from your photographers.
2. Meet your photographers
A pre-wedding shoot it’s a great opportunity to know your photographers better. Having spent years working together, we have tailored our style to capture your special day in exactly the way you choose. Everyone is unique and when the most important memories of your life lie in our hands, it is our responsibility to make sure that they are full of joy.
3. Likes & dislikes
By seeing your pictures before your wedding helps to understand your style better. How much direction do you need? Some prefer documentary style with minimal intrusiveness; some would like to be advised thoughtfully. Usually, it’s a mixture of both but we leave it for you to choose.
4. Finding a spot
We suggest having your pre-wedding shoot at your chosen wedding venue. It helps to appreciate surroundings, carefully choosing full of light spaces and beautiful backgrounds.
5. Creating your cinema
If you decide to have a wedding video, we recommend filming some footage about you two which could be included in your wedding highlight movie. Please see some examples here.
6. Share an experience
After your photo shoot (usually, it’s not longer than two hours) it’s great to sit down and have a well deserved drink while chatting about the day. We'd love to hear your opinion, suggestions, or even doubts. We want to create a memory to last for whole life, and it’s better be a good one :)
7. Creating your wedding memorabilia
We usually take up to two weeks to select, edit and present your pre-wedding photos online. If you happy with photos and no further changes needed, we’ll send you a link to download around 50 high-resolution photos. Please see some examples here. Prints, canvas, wedding invitations, guest books or slide shows at your wedding receptions, there are many ways how images can decorate your Day.
8. Let’s have fun!
Your pre-wedding photo shoot doesn’t have to be all serious and boring. In fact, it’s complicated to capture something dazzling with forced smiles. If you cherish our work and would like to discuss your wedding photography, please get in touch with us. We would love to hear your story…
